Romania Industrial production in November down year on year

On a seasonally adjusted basis, Romania’s industrial production fell 1.9% year-on-year in November, following a downward-revised decline of 4.7% the previous month, according to data from the Institute. national statistics office (INS) based in Bucharest on Wednesday.

On an unadjusted basis, industrial production rose 0.9% year-on-year in November, driven by higher electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply (7%) and manufacturing (0.1%).

Extractive industries, for their part, fell by 1.3%.

On a seasonally adjusted and actual monthly basis, industrial production rose 2.5% in November, following a downward-revised decline of 0.6% in October.
